🔌 Function

Carries fluid between two fixed connections along a set route, the pre-formed length holding the run clear of the parts around it.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Weeping or dripping at either end fitting
• Chafe or a bright rub mark where the tube has touched a bracket or the block
• Corrosion, pitting or a bulge along the run
• End fittings distorted or cross-threaded from previous removals
• The tube fouling or standing under strain, showing the wrong length has been fitted

🛠️ Service Notes

• Check the length against the old tube before fitting - the 2000 mm tube 980832 in this run is the near neighbour to get wrong
• Support the run as the original was supported; an unclipped tube fails at the end fitting
