🔌 Function

Clamps a banjo or similar fitting to its port while carrying fluid through the drilling in its own shank, so the connection both seals and flows.

• Weeping at the banjo joint after the engine has been run
• Sealing washers found flattened, hardened or reused
• Feed restricted or lost where the drilling has blocked with debris
• Thread stripped or the head rounded from overtightening
• Screw found cracked at the head, usually after repeated overtightening

• Renew both sealing washers whenever the joint is broken; reused washers are the usual cause of a weeping banjo
• Check the drilling is clear before fitting, and tighten to the specified figure - this screw is weakened by its own bore
