Full model list at the end of this description.

⚙️ Key Features

  • 0.086 kg
  • 38 applications
  • Covers the TWD and TAD series engines
  • 3 used per assembly

🔌 Function

Holds a fixed separation between two components on a bolt or shaft so the joint can be tightened without crushing what sits between.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Assembly loose or knocking where it should be rigid
  • Sleeve crushed, belled or split at an end
  • Bore worn or scored where the bolt passes
  • Ends no longer square, so the clamped parts sit skewed

🛠️ Service Notes

  • 984306 and 984644 are the other spacer sleeves in this group and cover different applications - order by part number
  • Compare the length of the old sleeve with the new one before assembly; the gap it sets is what the part is for

📦 Condition

  • Genuine Volvo Penta part
  • Brand new
  • Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
