994073 Housing | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta 16-pole EATS housing weighing 0.041 kg and listed for 31 applications across the TAD, D, TWD and TADH engine series. The 16-pole count and the EATS application are what identify it - the other housings in this range carry no such marking, so this is the one to order when the connector on the exhaust aftertreatment side has sixteen ways.

🚤 Compatibility

• Engine Family: TAD, D, TWD, TADH

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Fault codes or intermittent readings that come and go with vibration
• Latch broken so the connector will not lock home
• Terminals pushed back, loose or corroded in their cavities
• Green or white corrosion where moisture has got into the housing
• Body cracked or heat-distorted

🛠️ Service Notes

• Count the ways before ordering - this housing is the 16-pole one
• Check the terminals and the mating half for spread or corrosion before condemning the housing, as the fault is often in the contacts rather than the shell
