Genuine Mercury Upper Power Trim Tilt Shaft - Part Number: 99625002
A genuine Mercury upper tilt shaft and pin used to secure the upper end of selected power-trim assemblies to the swivel or transom bracket. The hardened shaft carries the pivot load as the hydraulic unit raises, lowers and trims the outboard.
Part number 99625002 replaces earlier 996251 and 99625 references.

The shaft passes through the upper eye of the hydraulic trim assembly and the matching bracket bosses. It forms the upper pivot point and transfers engine weight and hydraulic thrust into the transom-bracket structure.
