🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta guide weighing 1.It is the heavier of the two guides in this run, the other being 9996876 at 0.172 kg, and the gap between them shows they are separate tools rather than sizes of one.

⚙️ Key Features

  • Guide, 1.690 kg
  • The heavier of the two guides listed here, against 9996876 at 0.172 kg
  • Service tool, ordered by tool number

🔌 Function

Holds the component on line as it enters, so it starts square and does not pick up on the bore or thread.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Guiding surface scored or worn, so the part no longer enters cleanly
  • Body bent, so the guide no longer holds the line
  • Cracks at a shoulder or change of section
  • Component starting off square despite the guide being fitted

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Check the guiding surface for score marks before use; damage there transfers straight onto the new component

📦 Condition

  • Genuine Volvo Penta part
  • Brand new
  • Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
