⚙️ Key Features

• Listed for D11 4f JP, the D13 range and the TAD1140 and TAD1340 series
• Catalogued by Volvo as a guide sleeve
• 0.041 kg
• Smallest of the three guides listed here

🔌 Function

Guides a component onto its shaft, into its bore or past a thread during assembly, so it enters straight and is not damaged on the way in.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Lead-in chamfer worn, burred or damaged
• Outer surface scored, so it drags on the component
• Guide bent or distorted, so the part enters askew
• Cracks or splits along the body

🛠️ Service Notes

• Dress off any burr before use; a guide is only useful while its lead-in is clean
• Tool 9990165 is the other guide sleeve in this block at 0.007 kg, for the D13 and TAD1340 engines only
