🔧 Product Description
Genuine Volvo Penta adapter 9998665, new from November 2016 and listed at 0.05 kg, the smallest of the eight adapters in this run of tool numbers. The introduction date is the distinguishing detail here, so a procedure written before that point will not call for it.
⚙️ Key Features
- New from November 2016
- 0.05 kg
- Smallest of the eight adapters listed here
- Genuine Volvo Penta service tooling
🔌 Function
Adapts the service tool to the fitting it must work on, so the standard tool can be used on a connection it does not otherwise match.
⚠️ Common Signs of Failure
- Thread or spigot worn, damaged or cross-threaded
- Sealing face scored, so a pressure joint weeps
- Adapter not pulling up square on the fitting
- Corrosion on the small mating surfaces
🛠️ Service Notes
- Introduced in November 2016; earlier tool documentation will not list it, so check the revision of the procedure being worked to
📦 Condition
- Genuine Volvo Penta part
