• Set bearing preload and wheel-nut torque correctly after installation
• Flush and inspect regularly after saltwater immersion
🔌 Function
Supports the trailer wheel on tapered roller bearings and, on disc-hub versions, provides the friction rotor used by the brake caliper.
Common signs of wear, damage or replacement required:
• Bearing noise, heat or excessive wheel play
• Rotor is scored, cracked, warped or below minimum thickness
• Stud holes or wheel studs are damaged
• Seal leakage or water-contaminated grease
• Hub or rotor has excessive runout
