A stainless wet-turbo mixing elbow for Detroit Diesel 6-71TIB 485HP marine engines. The JT3645 / HDI DET2-90 design bolts to the wet turbocharger with four dog-ear clamps and supplies a 90-degree cooling-water connection.

🔌 Function


The elbow seals to the wet turbo outlet, turns the exhaust gas and introduces seawater before the gas enters the wet exhaust hose.

• External corrosion, cracking or pin-hole leakage

• Cooling water entering the manifold, turbocharger or cylinders

• Steam, reduced cooling-water discharge or an abnormally hot exhaust hose
