🔧 Product Description

Pair of flexible packing extractors for removing old compression packing from marine stern glands, pump glands, rudder stocks and similar stuffing boxes. Goldenship GS38090 is the smallest tool in this series and is intended for packing sections of approximately 4mm and larger.

The flexible shaft reaches into the packing chamber while the threaded corkscrew tip bites into hardened packing rings for controlled extraction.

🔌 Function

Threads into each old packing ring so it can be drawn from the gland without scoring the shaft or dismantling more of the assembly than necessary. Using two pullers helps extract rings evenly and reach staggered packing joints.
