King Springs has made coil springs in Australia since 1956. The bar is peeled to strip surface defects, coiled hot, quenched and tempered, then shot peened, phosphate dipped and epoxy powder coated. Its high-stress X5K steel carries the same load with around 30% less material, cutting solid height and freeing up suspension travel.
King Springs designs its heavy duty replacement springs to be uprated over the original, generally by 20-40% depending on the vehicle. Ride height on a replacement coil is a guide only, so measure hub to guard at all four corners on level ground.
NOTE: Check the part number against your exact model and suspension variant before ordering; many King Springs numbers are side specific, marked left or right. Fitting needs spring compressors and a qualified workshop, and a wheel alignment after front springs. Special order item, brought in for you.
KIT CONTENTS: 1 x King Springs KDFR-42SP4 coil spring. Order two for both sides of the axle.
