King Springs has made coil springs in Australia since 1956. The bar is peeled to strip surface defects, coiled hot, quenched and tempered, then shot peened, phosphate dipped and epoxy powder coated. Its high-stress X5K steel carries the same load with around 30% less material, cutting solid height and freeing up suspension travel.
King Springs puts a raised 4WD coil at roughly 30-40 mm above standard ride height. Treat that as a guide: vehicle age, fitted accessories and factory option packs all move it, so measure hub to guard at all four corners on level ground.
NOTE: Check the part number against your exact model and suspension variant before ordering; many King Springs numbers are side specific, marked left or right. Fitting needs spring compressors and a qualified workshop, and a wheel alignment after front springs. Special order item, brought in for you.
