King Springs has made coil springs in Australia since 1956. The bar is peeled to strip surface defects, coiled hot, quenched and tempered, then shot peened, phosphate dipped and epoxy powder coated. Its high-stress X5K steel carries the same load with around 30% less material, cutting solid height and freeing up suspension travel.
This part number uses King Springs progressive rate design. The rate climbs as the coils gather under load and eases back as the suspension extends, so the spring adds load capacity without the harshness of a straight heavy-duty rate and without leaving the shock absorber short of rebound control.
NOTE: Check the part number against your exact model and suspension variant before ordering; many King Springs numbers are side specific, marked left or right. Fitting needs spring compressors and a qualified workshop, and a wheel alignment after front springs. Special order item, brought in for you.
