A new aftermarket fixed-geometry marine turbocharger engineered as a replacement for the Holset H1C unit used on selected Cummins 6BT 5.9-litre marine diesel engines.

The H1C turbocharger features a water-cooled marine turbine housing and uses exhaust-gas energy to drive its turbine and compressor wheels. It increases the quantity of air supplied to the engine, supporting normal power output, combustion efficiency and exhaust-smoke control.

Multiple H1C turbochargers were used on Cummins 6BT engines, so the original turbo data plate and Cummins engine serial number must be confirmed before installation.

🔌 Function

The turbocharger supplies compressed air to the engine intake so the cylinders receive enough oxygen for efficient fuel combustion.

Correct turbocharger performance is required for normal torque, loaded engine speed, exhaust temperature and smoke control.
