A set of three genuine MerCruiser double-ended mounting studs used to secure the MPI throttle body and adaptor assembly on selected GM-based V8 sterndrive and inboard engines.

The photographed studs match Mercury Marine part number 16-866204. They are used with throttle-body adaptor 862538001, throttle-body assembly 8M0046460 and 1/4-20 retaining nuts 11-8267138. This listing is supplied as one set of three studs.

🔌 Function

The studs thread into the throttle-body adaptor or intake mounting structure and provide the fixed mounting points used to locate and clamp the MPI throttle body. Correct studs maintain throttle-body alignment and even gasket compression.
