Aftermarket major service kit for selected Mercury and Mariner 60HP inline three-cylinder carburetted two-stroke outboards fitted with the BigFoot large gearcase. The verified application is the 60HP BigFoot family within serial range 0G590000-0T979999, using the large-gearcase 47-43026Q06 / 8M0100526 water-pump system.

BigFoot gearcases use a different pump, impeller, key, wear plate and seal arrangement from the standard 1.64:1 or small-gearcase models. Horsepower and cylinder count alone are therefore not sufficient for selection.

🔌 Function

Renews ignition, fuel-filtration, thermostat, gearcase-sealing and complete water-pump components during a scheduled major service. The full pump kit restores sealing and pumping surfaces that an impeller-only service does not address, which is important where the faceplate is scored or shaft seals have hardened.

Common signs service is due include:

• Difficult starting, poor idle or spark-plug fouling

• Restricted fuel delivery

• Overheating or thermostat sticking

• Weak tell-tale flow, damaged impeller blades or pump-housing leakage

• Water contamination or oil leakage around gearcase drain screws
