Aftermarket major service kit for selected Mercury and Mariner 70HP inline three-cylinder carburetted two-stroke outboards using the later large-gearcase 47-43026Q06 / 8M0100526 water-pump family. The 70HP designation spans more than one pump generation, so the full serial number and existing pump components must be checked before ordering.

The later service family is catalogued from approximately serial 0A996142 and higher for the applicable 70HP three-cylinder engines. Earlier 70HP models can use the older 89983-series pump system and are not automatically covered by this package.

🔌 Function

Renews the ignition, fuel, thermostat, gearcase-sealing and complete water-pump components used during major maintenance. The complete pump repair kit restores the impeller, sealing surfaces, key, faceplate and associated seals to support reliable cooling-water delivery.

Common signs service is due include:

• Weak tell-tale stream, scored faceplate or damaged impeller
