🔧 Product Description

Genuine OMC Cobra EFI Intake Manifold with Fuel Injectors and Rails

A genuine used OMC Cobra electronic-fuel-injection intake manifold assembly supplied with the installed fuel injectors and fuel rails.

This unnumbered assembly is most commonly associated with selected OMC Cobra and early Volvo Penta 5.0-litre EFI petrol marine engines. Because no manifold casting number, injector number or donor-engine model has been supplied, installation suitability must be confirmed from the casting marks, bolt pattern, throttle-body mounting, injector connectors and fuel-rail layout.

⚙️ Key Features

  • Genuine used OMC Cobra EFI intake-manifold assembly
  • Supplied with fuel injectors and fuel rails where shown
  • Multi-port electronic fuel-injection configuration
  • Marine petrol-engine intake component
  • Suitable as a replacement core or complete serviceable assembly after inspection

🚤 Compatibility

Commonly used on

  • OMC Cobra multi-port EFI petrol sterndrive engines
  • Early Volvo Penta EFI applications derived from the same engine platform

Typically suits

  • Selected OMC Cobra 5.0L EFI engines
  • Selected Volvo Penta 5.0Fi / 5.0 EFI applications
  • Ford-based 302 CID marine V8 installations where the casting, rail and injector configuration match
  • Exact fitment must be confirmed before purchase because OMC used different Ford and GM intake systems
  • Engine Type: Marine petrol EFI V8
  • Engine Capacity: Most commonly 5.0L / 302 CID, subject to casting verification
  • Year Range: Primarily early-to-mid 1990s

🔌 Function

The manifold distributes intake air to each cylinder while the fuel rails supply pressurised petrol to the individual injectors.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Manifold vacuum leak
  • Cracked or corroded casting
  • Injector leakage or poor spray pattern
  • Fuel-rail corrosion
  • Damaged injector connectors
  • Fuel-pressure loss
  • Engine runs lean, rich or unevenly
  • Throttle-body or gasket mounting surfaces are damaged

🔄 Supersession & Cross Reference

OEM Supersession Chain

  • No confirmed supersession chain without a manifold casting or OEM assembly number
  • OMC Cobra and early Volvo Penta EFI components may share Ford-based engine architecture but must be matched individually

OEM / Related Numbers

  • Manifold casting number to be confirmed from the physical item
  • Fuel-injector number to be confirmed from the injector body
  • Fuel-rail number to be confirmed from the rail or donor-engine catalogue
  • Related throttle body, MAP sensor, fuel-pressure regulator and engine wiring harness
  • Related intake-manifold gaskets and injector O-rings

Aftermarket / Verified Equivalents

  • No verified complete aftermarket equivalent
  • Marine-rated replacement injectors may be available once the injector number and flow specification are confirmed
  • Injector seal kits and intake-manifold gaskets are available for identified applications

📦 Condition

  • Genuine used assembly
  • Supplied with injectors and fuel rails as shown
  • Injector condition and flow should be professionally tested before installation
  • New injector O-rings and intake gaskets are recommended
  • Exact engine fitment must be confirmed from casting and component numbers
  • Removed from running engine where applicable
  • In good working condition unless otherwise stated
