This is a PSR rear spring retainer for the coil rear Nissan Navara NP300. It holds the rear coil spring captive so it cannot come out of its seat when the suspension drops to full extension.

This becomes a real issue once a vehicle is lifted or fitted with longer shocks, because the axle can drop further than the spring is long enough to stay seated. A retainer keeps the spring located through the full range of travel - the alternative is a spring that unseats off camber and has to be levered back in.

NOTE: Fitment should be confirmed against your exact model, body style and build date before ordering, and we recommend professional fitting by a qualified workshop. Spring retainers work with the shock travel available: check droop and spring seating through the full range once fitted.
