🔧 Product Description
Spare Type-X Sport 8.5 Inch Shock Dampener (Single) - Part Number: SPARE-TYPE-SHCK-DAMP
This is a genuine STEDI spare shock dampener for Type-X driving lights. STEDI lists it as a spare for the 8.5 and 7 inch Type-X V1 and Type-X Sport driving lights, and it is sold as a single dampener.
On the Type-X Sport, STEDI builds the mounting bracket from 4mm 304 stainless steel with a rubber dampener and an extra 3mm upper plate. The dampener sits in that mount and soaks up some of the vibration from corrugations and rough tracks before it reaches the light.
If a dampener has perished, split or gone missing, replacing it keeps the light seated firmly on its bracket.
