Adjustable piston-ring compressor for installing pistons approximately 2-1/8 to 5 inches in diameter. Recmar SSP4206 wraps a steel compression band around the ring pack so the piston can enter the cylinder bore without catching or breaking a ring.

The tool is suitable for many marine, automotive and industrial engines within its diameter range.

🔌 Function

Compresses all piston rings evenly into their grooves while the piston is tapped into the lubricated cylinder bore. Correct sizing and square seating reduce the risk of broken rings, damaged lands and scratched cylinder walls.
