🔧 Product Description

Large adjustable piston-ring compressor for pistons approximately 3-1/2 to 7 inches in diameter. Recmar SSP4207 is intended for larger marine, diesel, industrial and automotive pistons that exceed the range of common small compressors.

The broad compression band tightens evenly around the ring pack before the piston is introduced into the cylinder bore.

🔌 Function

Compresses the piston rings into their grooves so a large piston can enter the cylinder without ring snagging or breakage. The band must sit squarely against the block deck and remain tight until the complete ring pack enters the bore.
