4X4 Driveline Components

This small page holds PSR driveline and front axle parts for the two four wheel drives most often built for heavy touring and rock work: the Toyota LandCruiser and the Nissan Patrol.

For the LandCruiser 80 and 105 Series, PSR makes a weld-on front diff brace system, sold on its own or as a complete set with a diff centre guard, and a weld-on front diff centre guard that also fits the 70 Series. The brace stiffens the front axle housing, helping it resist bending under heavy bars and large tyres. For the Nissan Patrol there are GQ and GU hub tools for servicing the front hubs, and a TD42 engine side conversion bracket for owners swapping an RD28 for a TD42.

Weld-on braces and guards should be fitted by a qualified welder, with care taken not to distort the housing. Check the series in each title, as the 80 and 105 brace differs from the 70 Series parts. If you are unsure, send us your vehicle and what you are building through the contact page.
