A winch is the self-recovery tool for a four wheel drive that travels alone, and the gear around it matters as much as the winch. Synthetic rope needs a hawse fairlead rather than a roller fairlead, and the fairlead must match your bullbar's opening, which is why both standard and offset patterns are listed.

Choose a winch rated at roughly one and a half times your vehicle's loaded weight, and check that it fits your bullbar's winch cradle.
