EFS

EFS makes four wheel drive suspension, and this collection holds its steering dampers. A steering damper sits between the chassis or axle and the steering linkage and soaks up the kick that travels back through the wheel when a front tyre hits a rock, rut or pothole. On a lifted vehicle with larger tyres it also helps settle wheel shimmy.

Two EFS dampers are listed: a pin style steering damper and a tapered pin style steering damper. They differ in the mounting at the end of the damper, so the choice comes down to what your vehicle's damper brackets take. PSR also uses the tapered pin style EFS damper in its Nissan Patrol GQ and GU high clearance bracket kit.
